Fountain Temple Church of God in Christ was founded on June 3, 1945 in St. Louis, MO.

 

The vision of the church was dedicated by Pastor Virgil C. Sharp and Bishop D. Bostick.

 

The original church was located at 4832 Fountain Avenue in St. Louis, MO.

 

On April 2, 1995 the Lord gave Elder Nathaniel Smith a vision to lead the saints to the new edifice at the current location 1138 Bayard Avenue.
